PhD SEMINAR - SAED

Advanced Seminar of Discourse Studies (SAED)

SAED (Advanced Seminar in Discourse Studies) is a biweekly advanced seminar for doctoral students from any discipline who use methods to analyze discourse in their dissertations, especially from a critical perspective.

The sessions, led by Teun van Dijk and Lucía de la Presa, consist of an introduction to a major field or method of Discourse Studies, followed by a presentation of one SAED member's PhD Project each session. All SAED members are expected to present their research and share their specialized knowledge. The seminar is offered free of charge to all accepted applicants.
