MEMBERS
As part of our mission to promote research in the interdisciplinary field of Discourse Studies and to connect people from different universities and departments, we are happy to announce the launching of our membership initiative. Members of the Centre of Discourse Studies will have special access to events and educational resources and will become part of a growing global network of people with interest in Discourse Studies. In becoming a member, you also contribute to supporting the research and educational activities of the Centre of Discourse Studies.

Global Membership
You can become a Global Member of the Centre of Discourse Studies to have full access to our online, international events and to be part of a growing network of scholars interested in the Interdisciplinary field of Discourse Studies.
Price: €30/year (natural year period beginning January 1st)
Included in membership:

Free access to talks, symposia, and other events organized by the Centre. This includes unlimited access to the live events as well as the recordings of these activities.

Access to a members-only email group where members can both share and receive information about events, calls for papers, publications, and other materials or activities of interest.
Local Membership
If you are located in or near Barcelona and you would like to have access to the Centre as a space for work or study and to the thousands of books and journal volumes in our library then you may become a Local Member.
Price: €60/year (natural year period beginning January 1st)
Included in membership:

Access to the Centre's specialized, growing library tailored to the needs and requests of our local members.

Membership +Mentoring
If you are interested in becoming a Global or Local Member and would also like to receive guidance from our team regarding a research project (dissertation, post-doc, or other), you can choose the Member +Mentoring option
Price: €200/trimester (see trimester periods below) plus yearly Local or Global membership quota

1 one-to-one mentoring session with the director of the Centre of Discourse Studies, Teun van Dijk, plus a monthly one-to-one mentoring session with a member of our team/collaborators

The mentoring quota corresponds with the following trimester periods: October to December, January to March, and April to June.
