Discourse and Social Protest is the first International Meeting organized by the Research Group on Discourse and Social Protest (GIDYP) of the Centre of Discourse Studies. The event will be held online on Thursday, March 17th, and Friday, March 18th, 2022.

The four main purposes of Discourse and Social Protest - First International Meeting are: (1) to share the research work being carried out by the members of the Research Group on Discourse and Social Protest; (2) to enable debate, reflection and exchange on the discursive work carried out on social protest in recent times; (3) to establish links and relationships with other researchers interested in the subject, and (4) to generate dialogues with two experts in the area, Christopher Hart and Teun van Dijk.
